Towering above the tiny intruders, i make it clear who’s in charge. they’re nothing but playthings to me—too small to fight back, too weak to escape. i tease them with cruel comparisons, showing off just how massive i am next to their pathetic little bodies. some get trapped deep in my belly button; others are crushed flat and then swallowed whole, sliding down into my greedy stomach, where they’ll never be seen again.
